STRATEGY: epitomized
The best strategies are deeply rooted in the unique character of the business they serve.

The work begins with understanding who an organization truly is
— how it differs in kind and in practice from its competitors —
and translating that insight into clear, deliberate choices.
The aim is not to follow generic best practices, but to articulate the strongest and most authentic expression of each client:
its epitome.
ELIZABETH PONTEFRACT
I work with CEOs and leadership teams as a strategic thought partner, helping them turn complex questions into clear strategy and measurable results. Over the years, I’ve often been brought into new roles by former colleagues who value my straightforward, transparent approach and a leadership style that blends candor with genuine care.

My background spans retail grocery, services, non-profits, and food and beverage, including senior strategy roles at AAA Washington and PCC Community Markets during periods of meaningful growth and change. Across these roles, I’ve partnered closely with CEOs and boards to align leaders, streamline priorities, and deliver measurable financial and organizational impact.
I’m based in Seattle, where—outside of work—you’ll usually find me cheering on local teams or watching Jeopardy with my dog, Agnes.

HOW I WORK
Strategy isn’t a document; it’s a practice. The real value comes from managing it over time, using it to guide decisions, adapt to change, and keep the organization aligned as conditions evolve.

CLARITY
Develop a clear strategic plan reflecting the vision and values
of the client

ALIGNMENT
Ensure leadership is united in the prioritization of work to achieve the strategic plan

EXECUTION
Track progress of initatives, milestones, and results; adjust priorities to address current climate
